About Us

(formerly United Methodist Women)

Desert Spring Church’s United Women in Faith community is part of a worldwide organization which seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

We’re a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation. Driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood, we work to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Every day we show up. We take action. We get it done. And we invite you to join us.

Desert Spring Church’s United Women in Faith community is organized through our circles of friendship. We welcome you to join one of our circles or participate as a member-at-large by helping on our special projects or by donating money for our missions in support of women, children, youth, and families.

Deborah Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30am. Their local mission focus is on “Spread The Word Nevada”, a literacy organization which puts books into the hands of children. Members also participate in a faith-based book reading program.

Serendipity Circle meets on the third Thursday of each month at 10 am. Their local mission focus is “Family Promise”, an organization which helps homeless families in Las Vegas transition into permanent housing. This circle also supports “Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth” and “Spread The Word Nevada.”

A new Evening Circle is being planned. If you are interested in participating in this group, please contact us by using the form below.

Membership in Desert Spring Church’s United Women in Faith is open to all women. Join us!
