Desert Spring Church’s United Women in Faith community is part of a worldwide organization which seeks to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
We’re a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation. Driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood, we work to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Every day we show up. We take action. We get it done. And we invite you to join us.
Desert Spring Church’s United Women in Faith community is organized through our circles of friendship. We welcome you to join one of our circles or participate as a member-at-large by helping on our special projects or by donating money for our missions in support of women, children, youth, and families.
Deborah Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30am. Their local mission focus is on “Spread The Word Nevada”, a literacy organization which puts books into the hands of children. Members also participate in a faith-based book reading program.
Serendipity Circle meets on the third Thursday of each month at 10 am. Their local mission focus is “Family Promise”, an organization which helps homeless families in Las Vegas transition into permanent housing. This circle also supports “Spread The Word Nevada”, an organization which distributes books to children in at risk schools.
Ruth Circle meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 12:15pm in R2 of Desert Spring Church. Ruth Circle is actively serving our community in the areas of education, health and economic empowerment for women and girls.
Evening Star Circle meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm. We usually meet at the church in room 2, but occasionally at a home or other location.
For directions to meetings, or to arrange for childcare in order to attend, please email UWFaith@desertspringhchurch.com or fill out the form on the left side of this page.

- Education for Mission
- Leadership Development
- Nurturing for Community
- Social Action
- Spiritual Growth
Many of these books can be found in the church library or at the public library. To access the Reading Program list 2017-2023, please click here.
