Mission Statement
The Desert Spring Church is a place where we gather with other artists who want to enjoy, share, and learn more about our God given artistic talents.
Church family members, including adults and teens, participate in art exhibits and gatherings, collaborating with people specializing in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pen/ink, pastel, photography and many other medium.
The Guild holds quarterly workshops to share art techniques, resources, gather feedback, and inspire and motivate each other in their respective faith and artistic journey. Workshops will also provide an opportunity for guest speakers, book discussions, travel experiences, critiques, art demos and other art-related topics. Guild members may submit up to two pieces of original art per family for any of the exhibits held throughout the year. Come enjoy fellowship while creating beautiful art together.

What we have planned:
Short devotional
Still Life Multi-View Drawing Exercise, led by Patty Rogers – approximately 45 mins
Individual Open Studio – approximately 60 mins
Art Rotation – bring one or two new pieces and pick up existing pieces for Art Exhibit No 3. Also, it would be wonderful if your pieces incorporate a nature theme, in celebration of Pastor Dave and Geri’s ministry on June 23! All new pieces must have the correct picture hanging hardware, or they cannot be displayed. Click here for Instructions and Submission Requirements.
