What is A Different Kind of Christmas?
The idea is simple! Christmas is a time of giving. We give gifts to family and friends as a way of celebrating the birth of Jesus. Why not give a gift in honor of Jesus to celebrate his birthday? After all, Christmas is Jesus’ birthday!
In addition, 100% of Desert Spring’s Christmas Eve donations will go directly to this year’s partner.
2023 Partner – The Walter Hoving Home
Our Goal is $60,000
We are pleased to partner with the Hoving Home and its ministry of
empowering women.
The Walter Hoving Home was founded in 1967 and during its 56 years in ministry has served over 26,000 women, helping them overcome addiction and lead a successful life by fulfilling their God given purpose.
The funds will be used by the Hoving Home here in Las Vegas to support their programming. Your donation will help teach women a new way to live with a biblical foundation; deal with the issues in their lives such as anger, bitterness, and low self-esteem; and provide career readiness training, helping to establish a healthy work ethic and preparation for employment, while living free of addiction.
