Watercolor Spirituality

All are welcome to come explore and discover the mixing of colors and water. Poetry and prayer. Abstraction and realism. Beginner and professional. Body and spirit. Watercolor Spirituality. Put a brush with color on paper, no judgments. No lessons. Just friendly fun.

Reference book suggested by Jan Kluever, “Life, Paint and Passion,” by Michele Cassou and Stewart Cubley.

“When you do not use art as a means to an end, but as a way to inhabit and explore the present, you reclaim your sense of what is authentic in you. It is like a recovered instinct that manifests not only in your approach to art but in your response to life itself in all its expressions.”

Wednesdays, October 26, and November 2 & 9 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm in Room 17/18 of the Education Wing. There is no cost to attend. This watercolor group is an outgrowth of the 10am Women’s Spiritual Growth/Prayer group led by Brenda Harley. Our co-leader is Peggy Corcovelos.

Attend as often or as little as you wish and bring snacks if you like. RSVPs are requested, but not mandatory.
