This month’s Book Club selection is: “Black Cake” by Charmaine Wilkerson.

Black Cake chronicles the life of Eleanor Bennett, a Caribbean immigrant who left behind a legacy of secrets and betrayals. The novel follows her two estranged children, Benny and Byron, who discover a frozen black cake and a recording of her revealing the truth about her past.
