Chrismon Craft Group Now Forming

Calling all crafters! We are gathering a group of crafters to spend time revamping and remaking our traditional Chrismon ornaments for the next Advent season. The current set of ornaments have served us well, but it is time for some of them to be retired.

Chrismons, meaning “Christ monograms,” traditionally are white and gold ornaments made from symbols that signify Christ. They remind us of Christ’s identity, his story, and of the Holy Trinity.

If you can assist, specifically with bead work, jewelry making, crocheting, embroidery and more, please plan to attend an introductory meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 24th from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. There will not be any crafting at this meeting, just an overview of the plan going forward.
