The Book Club’s selection for Thursday, Jan. 14 is “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson.

Unfairness in the justice system is a major theme of our age, and the author shows this message in one man’s refusal to sit quietly and view horror and evil being done. The lawyer shows that evil can be overcome, and a difference can be made. This is from a true story that has also been made into a movie.
